HackingDAO is a builder collective. We enter hackathons as squads drawn from seven guilds, and we split every prize by a points ledger the whole squad can read. This site keeps that ledger. It never holds or moves money.

Join as a builder
Frontend, backend, onchain, AI, design, video or QA. Sign in with GitHub, tell us what you build, and a person reads every application.
Sponsor or organiser
Running a hackathon or putting up a bounty? Get squads that arrive formed, ship complete entries and settle prizes transparently.
How it works

Scout
Members scout the hackathons worth entering. A Core member decides go or no-go and names a lead, and builders apply for the places their guild fills.
- 02
Build
The squad ships together. Each accepted contribution earns points on the ledger, and everyone in the squad can see the tally.
- 03
Split
When a prize lands, it is divided by points. The ledger shows who is owed what. Payment happens outside this site, between people.
